Webinar – How to Master Assembly Situations in Primary Shaping Processes

In a lot of manufacturing environments, primary shaping is the basis on the way to the final product. This includes, for example, sand casting or injection molding. Starting from a shapeless substance, a specific process creates cohesion to manufacture a solid body.

This process often consists of several steps, each of them using suitable tools. To use the tools, assembly situations are needed, such as sand molds and castings.

To realize the high quality standards of the final product, it is necessary to analyze the process chain metrologically. Thus, not only the comparison of particular parts with their nominal data but also the analysis of assembly situations with other parts is needed.

In this webinar, GOM will show you how to analyze assembly situations of multiple parts in a primary shaping process with the GOM software.

On July 19, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. CEST, 1:00 p.m. CEST and 5:00 p.m. CEST, GOM invites you to the webinar “How to Master Assembly Situations in Primary Shaping Processes” held in German and English including the following topics:

  • typical defects in primary shaping processes
  • evaluation of multiple parts in one project file
  • aligning different parts with each other
  • digital assembly
  • analyzing surface distances between different parts

This webinar has already taken place. The webinar recording is available on YouTube.
