When the user faces a technical problem, he can directly contact one of GOM’s service experts by phone, who helps to diagnose the problem. Another option is online support. Here, the user has direct access to a database that helps him solve his technical problem.

Maintenance and on-site repair.
Maintenance Service
The maintenance service can be ordered directly or included in the scope of Protect and Protect Plus with fixed time intervals. A GOM service expert maintains all components and proactively replaces typical wear parts to increase the operating reliability of the system sustainably.Verification Service
Standardized tests verify the measuring accuracy of the system by using standardized artifacts. The test is available in two standards:- Verification Service 2634 – Test according to VDI 2634 Part 3:2008
- Verification Service 10360 – Test according to ISO 10360
Repair Service
If remote assistance is not sufficient, on-site repair carried out by a system expert is the most reasonable solution.

Software Coverage
Permanent access to current system software and free use of GOM Service Area guaranteed. The technical support can be contacted at any time.
Protect and Protect Plus
Protect is a maintenance contract of several years duration with fixed maintenance times. A GOM service expert maintains all components and proactively replaces typical wear parts to increase the operating reliability of the system sustainably.
If a measuring system requires repair, Protect Plus assures an even faster reaction time until the GOM service expert is on-site (incl. the necessary components).
