Mobile optical 3D scanner
ATOS Core provides 3D coordinate measuring data for 3D printing, reverse engineering, inspection and adaptive manufacturing. The scanner serves as a mobile measuring device and a stationary desktop scanner.

Coordinates of three-dimensional objects can be measured easily and precisely with the portable TRITOP system. Tasks that traditionally were performed on tactile 3D coordinate measuring machines, can be carried out with the TRITOP system without complex, heavy, or high-maintenance hardware.
Optical and Tactile Measurement
GOM Touch Probe combines full-field and tactile 3D measurements. In this way, the GOM Touch Probe enables fast measurements in hard-to-reach areas, direct comparisons to the CAD, measurements of standard geometries and online alignments.
ATOS measurements and measurements with touch probes are carried out with one system and are evaluated with one single software package. Additional hardware, such as trackers, is not necessary. This enables fast measuring procedures and easy switching between surface and point measurements.

Additionally to full-field scanning, ATOS systems can also be used for live measurements of movements and deviations. Tracking is based on the stereo camera principle in combination with the Reference Point System from GOM. Individual points as well as entire part geometries can be tracked in space.
The alignment or positional deviation of a part from the nominal position can also be measured and tracked live by the ATOS system. This makes it easier to transfer the virtual alignment of the parts into the reality.
