GOM Inspect Suite
Highlights Release 2020
GOM Inspect Suite 2020 offers many new features and simplifies your work process even more. The default solution for 3D inspection maps the entire workflow in a unified user experience and now also allows you to scan your parts in the software. You will find further innovations of the software in the topics GD&T, digital assembly, blade inspection, volume inspection and virtual clamping.
Photogrammetry, scanning, inspection and reporting from one source - complete all steps in one software with the GOM Inspect Suite.MORE ›
GOM Inspect Suite provides inspection and visualization of form and position tolerances in accordance with ISO standards.MORE ›
GOM Inspect Suite offers specific inspections to the aerospace industry, for example for blisks: An inspection for one blade can be automatically repeated over any number of blades on the blisk.MORE ›
With Virtual Clamping you can reduce costs for fixtures. The multiple design and production of fixtures for individual process steps is eliminated.MORE ›
Coming Soon: Release 2021
Experience the GOM Suite! Not only can you launch the GOM software here, it also includes sample data or suitable eLearnings in the GOM Training Center and access the GOM Forum and other services. In addition, the GOM Suite offers you an overview of news and events and provides you with tips and tricks to make the best use of your GOM software.
Simply making quality visible
Use GOM Inspect Suite for simple or complex inspection tasks for your entire inspection process - from capturing the part to be inspected, mesh processing, CAD import, required form and position calculations to trend analyses, digital assembly or proprietary inspection.
Which features do you need?
Formats such as IGES, JT Open and STEP, but also CATIA, NX, Solidworks and Pro/E, can be imported into the GOM Inspect Suite simply by drag & drop.MORE ›
You can smooth, thin and refine polygon meshes, but also fill holes in the mesh and extract curvature lines.MORE ›
The Professional module in GOM Inspect Suite is based on a basic parametric concept. This accelerates the inspection process, as process steps can be quickly repeated and traced back.MORE ›
The GOM Inspect Suite stores records as Python scripts. You can run it repeatedly or you can adjust or generalize the recorded script by editing it.MORE ›
Quick start with GOM Training
User InterfaceThis first tutorial gives you an overview of the graphical user interface including 3D view, explorer and reporting. It briefly introduces all major software concepts.
This video shows you how to import data such as CAD files, point clouds and volume data generated with computed tomography systems.
This episode demonstrates a typical simple inspection workflow. It shows you how to perform an alignment, create a surface comparison and document the results in a report page.
eLearning and classroom training
Whether as eLearning or in a classroom training: Visit the GOM Training Center to learn everything you need to know about the GOM Inspect Suite.
Among other things, you will learn about the benefits of parametric inspection or create trend analyses, statistical process controls and user-defined templates. In the Inspection Basic Training - 3D Metrology, for example, participants learn how to inspect 3D measuring data in the GOM Inspect Suite, including inspection planning, alignment methods or report generation.
Tested high precision
The accuracy of the system-independent inspection software GOM Inspect was verified by comparison with reference results by the institutions Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The GOM software has been placed in the category with the lowest measurement deviations (class 1).
