AUKOM Level 1

The five-day training course includes basic knowledge of production metrology for beginners and advanced users in the field of metrology.

The training provides the latest knowledge regarding dimensional tolerancing, programming basics and measurement process planning. It also deals with the technology used in measuring machines and sensors. Participants gain a deeper understanding of the measurement tasks and influential variables and therefore learn how to reduce measurement uncertainties.

  • Standard units – basic parameters and derived values
  • Coordinate systems and geometrical elements
  • Sensors and coordinate measuring systems
  • Metrological basics and dimensional tolerancing
  • Geometric constructions and calculation
  • Preparing a measurement on the coordinate measuring machine
  • Sensor selection and calibration
  • Measuring with the coordinate measuring machine
  • Evaluation of measurements and statistics
  • Inspection planning – identification and evaluation of inspection features
  • Documentation and Quality Management
