Single Airfoil Measurement and Inspection

In this three-day training course, participants learn how to realize a whole ATOS ScanBox process from scratch for a single airfoil represented by an HP turbine blade of an industrial gas turbine.

First, participants learn how to create an inspection plan according to the technical drawing covering the most common airfoil inspections such as chord, profile thicknesses, form and position. From the inspection plan, participants continue to create an ATOS ScanBox process using Smart Teach for creating measurement positions for photogrammetry and ATOS. Finally, participants learn how to confirm the robustness of their process regarding mesh and inspection element repeatability.
