ATOS Professional System Basic Training

In the three-day training course, participants learn all basic strategies for working with an ATOS sensor and the ATOS Professional software. The training course comprises an acquisition module and an inspection module.

In the acquisition module, participants learn how to digitize a measuring object with an ATOS sensor based on different measuring strategies. Under the guidance of an experienced GOM trainer, participants carry out practical exercises with the ATOS system and create a 3D model of an exemplary measuring object during the first day of the training.

In the inspection module, participants learn all basics required for evaluating digitized measuring objects. Based on the created 3D model, they perform inspection tasks of varying complexity and analyze, for example, distances, diameters and angles of the measuring objects.
