ARAMIS Professional System Basic Training

During the three-day training course, participants get to know all basics, concepts and operating principles for working with an ARAMIS system and the ARAMIS Professional software. The training course comprises an acquisition module and an inspection module.

In the acquisition module, participants learn the fundamentals of digital image correlation and how to measure motion and deformation of dynamic part specimens using a stereo camera system. They learn both how to deal with reference point markers and stochastic patterns. With the support of the GOM trainer, the participants carry out practical exercises with the ARAMIS system and get a feel for the diverse fields of application.

On the following two days, the course continues with the inspection module providing all principles required for the evaluation of the measured dynamic part specimens. Participants create point-based and surface-based inspections and learn how to deal with local coordinate systems, different alignments and the result representation.
