AUKOM Level 2

The five-day training course broadens basic knowledge of production metrology.

Participants gain extended knowledge on the topics of form and positional tolerances, test plan interpretation, programming and monitoring. The training also covers the machine and sensor technology used. An enhanced understanding of measuring tasks and influencing parameters enables the participants to reduce measuring uncertainties and thus to make measuring results more reliable and easier to compare.

  • Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Measurement strategy – efficient measurement of parts
  • CNC programming – building up measurement programs
  • Evaluation – criteria and methods
  • Overview of the entire measuring procedure
  • Geometric overview
  • Probing strategy – tactile sensors
  • Probing strategy – image-processing sensors
  • Probing strategy – distance sensors
  • Measurement of freeform surfaces
  • Effects on the Measurement Result
  • Documentation of Measurement Result
  • Test Equipment Monitoring
