Basic Level System and Software Training

The range of basic level classroom training courses includes system and software training. Each course combines theoretical knowledge with practical training. Various exercises on the systems and software ensure a productive learning environment. The training courses are especially recommended if participants are new to the GOM world or if they just want to refresh their knowledge about GOM systems and software.

ATOS Professional System Basic Training Modules

The training course comprises an acquisition module and an inspection module. Participants learn all basic strategies for scanning parts of different sizes using an ATOS sensor. In the inspection module, participants learn to use the GOM Inspect Professional software for shape and dimension analyses, 3D inspections and mesh processing of the scanned 3D measuring data.

During the three-day training course, participants with no or very little experience with coordinate measuring technology will learn the basic strategies for working with an ATOS sensor and ATOS Professional software.

At the end of the training participants are able to:

  • Handle the ATOS sensor
  • Create a project in the GOM software
  • Handle reference points
  • Digitize measuring objects which fill the measuring volume or which are considerably larger
  • Change the ATOS sensor to a different measuring volume
  • Polygonize the measured data

In the two-day training course, users can inspect the 3D measurement data in GOM software. The training course is suitable for users who have no or very little experience with the software-based evaluation of digitized measuring objects. Evaluation requires the software packages GOM Inspect Professional or ATOS Professional.

ARAMIS Professional System Basic Training Modules

The training course includes an acquisition module and an inspection module. All basic strategies for handling ARAMIS sensors and for capturing dynamic part specimens based on reference point markers or stochastic patterns are covered in the acquisition module. In the inspection module, participants learn how to carry out static and dynamic component tests based on the measuring results.

During the three-day training course, participants will get to know all basics, concepts and working methods for acquiring and evaluating data with an ARAMIS system. The training addresses new users of the ARAMIS system who have little or no knowledge of coordinate measuring technology.

At the end of the training participants are able to:

TRITOP Professional System Basic Training Modules

The training course consists of an acquisition module and an inspection module. The acquisition module deals with all basic strategies for the photogrammetric acquisition of 3D coordinates of selected points of a measuring object using a TRITOP photogrammetry camera. The inspection module covers all essentials required for evaluating measuring data.

The three-day training course teaches participants who have no or very little experience with coordinate measuring technology the basic strategies for working with the TRITOP system and the application software TRITOP Professional.
