April 24–27 in Stuttgart, Germany
At the leading international trade fair for quality assurance in Stuttgart, Germany, GOM presented the latest technologies in the field of optical 3D metrology on 570 m² of exhibition space. New products and established measuring systems set standards for speed, resolution and precision. Software developers and application engineers were available for questions and live demos at booth 3304.
Integrated into the exhibition space, the Tech Lounge offered an insight into development topics from the GOM software. Another highlight of the fair were GOM’s break-out sessions. The specialized 90-minute presentations provided solutions to the measurement challenges of the automotive industry. Topic of this year’s BOS: ATOS ScanBox and beyond.
The Tech Lounge provided insight into new developments of GOM software and the latest technology highlights. Topics such as software 2018, digital assembly as well as GD&T were presented in this multimedia offer.
ATOS sensors for the inspection of sheet metal parts, tools and molds, turbine blades, prototypes as well as injection-molded and die-cast parts: in the industry, ATOS systems can be integrated directly into production for series inspection.
The ATOS measuring systems are used both in manual and automated applications, thus solving a wide variety of measurement tasks. Each ATOS system is a complete solution consisting of a sensor and the corresponding evaluation software.
ATOS systems are used in measuring rooms and in shop floor environments. The ATOS ScanBox is a complete optical 3D measuring machine for efficient quality control in production and manufacturing processes. Different models are available for different part sizes and applications.
News Products presented at Control 2018:
GOM supplies solutions for highest resolution and highest speed in 3D deformation and motion analysis. All 3D testing systems showing materials testing, component testing and deformation analysis as well as automotive testing solutions. The booth showed the new ARAMIS SRX sensor in action.
The 90-minute break-out sessions deal with the inspection of automotive sheet metal components and are targeted at experts from quality assurance, production and engineering.
