Training Webinar - Surface Analysis on Plastic Components

Industry is facing continuously growing requirements on plastic components. Besides geometrical and functional requirements, visible surfaces play also a critical role as they directly represent the product quality. For this reason, it is of great importance to detect and quantify surface defects of injection-molded parts, such as sink marks, dents caused by ejectors as well as corrugation. This allows taking appropriate and effective corrective measures. There are also various application fields for the automotive interior, such as weakening lines on airbag covers, which can lead to bulges or sink marks.

On October 27, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. CEST, 1:00 p.m. CEST and 5:00 p.m. CEST, GOM invites you to the training webinar “Surface Analysis on Plastic Components” held in German and English including the following topics:

  • Typical surface defects of plastic components
  • Surface defect map in the software – How does it work?
  • Live software applications: Detect and analyze defects

This webinar has already taken place. The webinar recording is available on YouTube.
