The determination of material parameters based on tensile tests is widely used for new material developments and material quality control. Therefore, the accurate determination of parameters, including stress-strain curve, Young’s modulus, r-value and n-value, is very important.
The precise full-field results from ARAMIS improve the accuracy of the material properties. Existing evaluation procedures are enhanced and thus more reliable, e.g. the determination of flow curves and forming limit curves. Many material tests can only be evaluated due to the non-contact measurement and the high local resolution results that ARAMIS provides.
