Application Webinar - Optical 3D Metrology in Biomechanics Testing

Biomechanics presents a huge challenge to existing measurement technologies for determining the mechanical properties of materials and for validating the performance of parts (e.g. implants). GOM’s advanced full-field imaging methods using 3D image correlation, stereo photogrammetry and 3D digitization techniques are used for dynamic measurements of biomechanical systems such as bones, tendons, ligaments and even tissue.

The GOM webinar deals with various applications for optical 3D metrology in the area of biomechanical testing:

  • Motion and strain analysis on biological tissue
  • Performance validation of a prosthesis
  • 6DoF analysis on spine bones

The webinar will take approximately 45 minutes and will be held in English and German.
