Every year the trade journal “inspect” presents its award for innovative new products in the fields of image processing and optical metrology. The award candidates are nominated by a jury of experts, but the readers of the journal take the final vote. This time, GOM had every reason to celebrate: In the category “Automation + Control”, GOM’s industrial computer tomograph – GOM CT – landed on the podium.
“It means very much to us to hold this award in our hands,” says Dr. Dominik Stahl, head of CT development at GOM. “We dared a lot during the development of the GOM CT: We have questioned the usual market standards, improved best practices and invented something new. Now we are really glad that we received this award.”
David Löh, vice-editor-in-chief of “inspect”, and his colleague Jörg Wüllner traveled to GOM in Braunschweig, Germany, to present the award – and did not miss the opportunity for an intensive exchange on the future technology CT. We will cherish this award – and we thank everyone who voted for us!
