The new highlights of the GOM Software 2016 include:
The free GOM Correlate software can now be used for precise 2D and 3D motion analyses. Furthermore, GOM has developed GOM Snap 2D, a free 2D image acquisition software with a generic command interface (GenICam) for USB3 cameras.
With the free GOM Inspect software, it is now possible for the first time to import data formats deriving from a computer tomograph directly into the software. Furthermore, the software allows the import and inspection of various materials of a scanned object as separate surface meshes.
In the GOM Software 2016, reference point positions and photogrammetry measurement positions can now be generated automatically in the VMR.
For surface inspections, the new function “Surface Defect Map” detects and displays small defects based on meshes.
The GOM Software 2016 Beta is already available for download at GOM Service Area*.
