The workshop was divided into different training blocks, covering a total of six topics. The focus was on ARAMIS, GOM’s measuring system for optical 3D deformation analysis on materials and components. In addition, DOM 3D presented other deformation products from GOM, featuring ARGUS, PONTOS and TRITOP, and it demonstrated how GOM’s metrology systems are to be applied quickly and easily for deformation analysis in specific user tasks in order to achieve optimal measuring results.
The six workshop blocks covered the following aspects:
ARGUS – Sheet Metal Forming Analysis
ARAMIS – Evaluation of Tensile Tests
ARAMIS – High-speed applications and processes
ARAMIS – HW setup, tips and tricks
PONTOS – Dynamic Component Deformation Analysis
TRITOP – Static Component Deformation Analysis
A talk by SDL / Zwick rounded off the workshop and provided participants with a detailed overview and additional information on the topics described above.
The workshop was flanked by an exhibition from PHOTRON Shanghai that presented its high-speed cameras.
GOM would like to thank DOM 3D for its great work and it wishes to thank everyone involved in the organization of two informative and successful workshop days.
