The established class of ATOS Triple Scan sensors is extended by the new ATOS Triple Scan 12M. With its two high-resolution 12 megapixel cameras and the Blue Light technology, ATOS Triple Scan 12M combines high resolution with high-quality results and thus is particularly suitable for complex applications. Each camera captures 12 million measuring points with each single scan, and thus provides extraordinary data quality and data density. The strongest feature of the ATOS system, often used for reverse engineering applications and quality control, is the triple acquisition of measuring points in one single shot. Furthermore, it ensures effective measurements also for black and reflecting surfaces, without the need of spraying the measuring object and also grants faster measurements for complex surfaces and objects.
In addition to the brand new ATOS Triple Scan 12M, GOM Italia also presented the TRITOP photogrammetry system with the newest version of the TRITOP Professional software. The portable TRITOP system measures the 3D coordinates of objects in a quick and reliable way: Now, measuring tasks which used to be executed by tactile 3D measuring devices can now be carried out much easier. In connection with TRITOP Professional, an object is measured which is subject to various load stages and is then evaluated in a stage project: The deformation of the object is calculated based on the displacement of the reference point markers.
Great success for the workshop "Dimensional measures through innovative solutions" shown on 17 of April from 14:45 to 17:00, where Mr. Carlo Ferro, responsible of the stamping department of our customer FIAT Mirafiori Turin, held the lecture "The metal sheet forming innovation: from product development to the quality control".
