Mentel exhibited GOM’s full range of digitizing scanners and deformation products along with their applications. In addition, the focus was on the new 3D digitizing and inspection software V8, which provides enhanced optimization of measurement processes and increases inspection efficiency.
Furthermore, two renowned customers from different industries shared their positive experiences with the operation of GOM measuring systems in their companies.
A speaker from the prestigious technical university King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi lectured on the ARAMIS system and permitted insights into the latest research findings of the university in the fields of material testing and deformation analysis of sheet metal parts. The ARAMIS system is an ideal tool to gain new insights, as the measuring results provide important information on material and component behavior.
During the meeting, the National Metal and Materials Technology Center presented the advantages of optical metrology for reverse engineering and quality control. Here, the focus of interest was on the fields of application automotive, dental care, architecture and art.
Live demonstrations of different 3D scanners from GOM accompanied the two presentations.
Many thanks go to Mentel for its successful organization of the user meeting and to all visitors for their keen interest in GOM products. We are already looking forward to the next GOM event in Thailand.
