At IMTS 2018 Capture 3D will show GOM´s latest generation of ATOS structured blue light scanners. ATOS 5 is a new high-speed sensor of the ATOS family. The robust 3D scanner is fast and precise. The Blue Light Equalizer is a component that was especially developed for the light source. Result of the new technology is: an ultra-powerful light source that enables the use of large measuring volumes.
The bright light source of ATOS 5 is based on blue LED light. As a result, the measuring system achieves high-precision data in a short measuring time. The data quality is particularly evident in the detail sharpness of the 3D models.
Another new product that is presented is GOM´s ATOS ScanBox 5108 BPS (Batch Processing System). The new ATOS ScanBox 5108 with batch processing system enables automated loading and unloading of the optical 3D coordinate measuring machine. For this reason, the ATOS ScanBox 5108 BPS is extended by a handling system and a programmable logic controller (PLC). The batch processing system helps to achieve high throughput and eliminates the impact of the user on the measurement, which significantly increases process reliability.
Capture 3D also presents the free GOM Inspect Software, the ATOS Triple Scan, the ATOS Compact Scan, the ATOS ScanBox 5108, the ATOS Capsule, and the ATOS Core. Metrology experts are on site to provide expertise and solutions.
