Visit the free interactive workshop at GOM UK
11. September 2018, Coventry, UK
The team at GOM UK would like to invite you and your colleagues to attend our free interactive workshop which will outline the new developments featured in the latest GOM 2018 Software Update. This workshop takes place on Tuesday 11. September 2018 at our GOM UK offices near Coventry airport. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Several parts can easily be virtually assembled in a project. Measured meshes of two or more parts can be aligned with each other in different ways. Therefore, inspections are possible not only within a part, but also between parts.
Complete physical assemblies can be predicted or reconstructed based on individual parts. Users can, for example, inspect gap and flush dimensions between individual parts allowing early identification of any issues.
GD&T checks of a part or assembly that are specified in an engineering drawing can be individually selected in the GOM Software 2018 thanks to the optimised workflow. The software automatically recognises geometric elements and freeform surfaces and GD&T can be adapted accordingly.
Functional aspects, such as parallelism, flatness and positions in the local datum and coordinate system, can thus be quickly and easily inspected. The results can then be displayed in a coloured deviation representation.
