The leading international trade fair for additive manufacturing is expanding constantly. As a result, Formnext 2019 will take place in halls 11 and 12 for the first time. GOM is located in hall 12.1, booth E71.
With the increasing technological perfection of additive manufacturing technologies, more and more companies are introducing optical metrology into their processes. The use of optical techniques in functional checks, process control and quality control offers many advantages. In particular, 3D printed parts can benefit because they are often complex with freeform geometries and are highly customer-specific.
At Formnext in Frankfurt, GOM will be showcasing on 54 m2 how optical 3D measurement technology can be integrated into the manufacturing process and how it contributes to the further development of the entire additive manufacturing process.
