Training Webinar - Surface Analysis of Sheet Metal Parts

Industry is facing continuously growing requirements on sheet metal parts. The main focus is on visible surfaces, as they directly reflect the quality of a product. Especially during the manufacturing process of automotive hang-on parts, hardly detectable surface defects can result, for example, from necking, adhesive residues or worn tools.

Optical metrology allows a series-accompanying and reproducible evaluation of defects, so that subsequent corrective actions can be defined more purposefully. Due to the parametric computation, the objective results are made available in a shorter time than an auditor would require with the conventional method of the grind stone.

On July 13, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. CEST, 1:00 p.m. CEST and 5:00 p.m. CEST, GOM invites you to the training webinar “Surface Analysis of Sheet Metal Parts” held in German and English including the following topics:

•    Typical surface defects on sheet metal parts
•    Surface defect map in the software – How does it work?
•    Live software applications: Detect and analyze defects
•    Theoretical background on computation method

The webinar will take approximately 30 minutes and will be held in English and German.
