Marubeni organized GOM Conference in Japan

01/2016GOM’s partner Marubeni organized a GOM Conference with approximately 300 visitors in Tokyo and Nagoya in November. Participants had the opportunity to take part in user presentations and live demonstrations to discover how GOM’s optical measuring techniques simplify complex measuring tasks in the field of 3D coordinate measuring technology as well as in materials and component testing.

Representatives of companies such as OMRON Automotive Electronics, Calsonic Kansei, KOIWAI, Nagoya Tokushu and Nikko Techno shared their experiences in using GOM’s measuring techniques and reported how the companies were able to optimize production processes, reduce development times and increase product quality.

Marubeni presented, amongst others, the new ARAMIS sensor and the GOM V8 SR1 software that will be available from mid January. Introducing new hardware and software, GOM is offering a completely new measuring solution for testing applications. Furthermore, other GOM products were presented as well, including ARGUS and TRITOP and various ATOS systems for 3D coordinate measurement.

During live demonstrations, visitors could exchange ideas with Marubeni’s metrology experts and find out how to use GOM’s measuring techniques for their individual measuring tasks.

We would like to express our gratitude to all participants and speakers for contributing to a successful event. Special thanks also go to the Marubeni team. We are already looking forward to the next GOM Conference in Japan.
