On May 19th-20th the GOM UK User Meeting 2008 took place in Leek Wootton near Warwick, United Kingdom with over 50 participants from various industry sectors and research facilities.

The GOM UK User Meeting focused on 3D coordinate and deformation measurement solutions and applications. The meeting provided a platform to exchange application experiences using the GOM optical measuring systems.

The two day event featured user presentations covering application examples, system integration in process chains and hands-on experiences. Measuring systems were on live display with our GOM team available for discussions. The second day of the meeting featured workshops highlighting specific new software functions.

Companies presenting at the User Meeting included: E.ON UK Limited, Honda F1, Howmet, Imperial College, Physical Digital, Rolls Royce Hucknall and Warwick University.
