Efficient development of components is realized using less iteration loops in the development process. This is usually done using complex and significant simulations, which must be validated in tests. At this point, fast and easy to apply optical 3D measurement methods can help to replace a multitude of LVDTs and accelerometers, or create new so far unimaginable measurement setups. The fast adaptation to new measurement setups and the multitude of easy to apply 3D measurement points allow a precise and efficient validation of simulations. Furthermore, optical measurement methods enable a visual presentation of measurement results, which makes a result interpretation easy and intuitive. The technology will be presented with examples of testing setups. Additional figur 5 and figur 6 are available as animations: |
